Yuvan Shankar Raja
Denying all the allegations regarding a third marriage, music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, son of the Maestro Ilayaraja, took to his micro – blogging page to announce something very sensational - Yuvan Shankar Raja follows Islam!Apparently he has been following Islam for quite some time now.
#Yuvan tweeted “Yes, I follow Islam and I’m proud about it. Alhamdhulillah. My family supports my decision and there is no misunderstanding between me and my dad.”
Although Yuvan himself hasn’t commented about his tweet, a source close to him had said in an interview for the Times that Yuvan has been practicing Islam for almost a year now. According to the source, “He has been doing namaz five times a day all these months. He is not missing his prayers even when he is at work and ensures that he allots time for it at his studio as well.”
The source also said, “Currently, he is planning to convert to Islam and is also thinking of going for a change of name. But he is yet to decide on these.”
