Oct 12 2017: It is not often that you see actors getting pushed past their comfort zones in movies.
Nor is it easy to gain such performance-oriented roles in an industry which mostly focuses on commercial masala movies.
Gorgeous actress Samantha has been presented with one such rare opportunity to play a challenging movie role, and from the look of things, she has seized the opportunity with both hands.
For the first time in her career, Samantha is set to play a ghost in the film Raju Gari Gadhi 2. Well that explains why she looks so sad, depressed and disconsolate in the first look of her character Amrutha in the film.
No wonder expectations have skyrocketed among fans of Samantha for this horror thriller set to hit screens tomorrow, October 13.
The sequel is being helmed by Ohmkar who also directed the film’s first part. Interestingly, Nagarjuna is set to appear as a mentalist in the film, which is being produced by PVP Cinema and Matinee Entertainment.
It may be noted that Samantha got married to long-time boyfriend Naga Chaitanya on October 7 in Goa with two ceremonies -- Hindu and Christian – attended by close friends and relatives. The couple is expected to leave for Bahamas for their honeymoon soon.
