November 15, 2012: A spokesperson of Sony Music recently announced that the Tamil movie audio market leader has bought the audio rights of Viswaroopam in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
Talking to reporters, the Sony Music spokesperson said: “We are happy to be associated with Kamal Haasan’s Viswaroopam music in all three languages that the film is releasing. Kamal Haasan films are associated with good music. The audio will hit the stores by the end of November.”
Viswaroopam's audio was actually scheduled to release on the 7th of November, on Kamal Hassan's birthday. However, the plans were scampered by Cyclone Nilam, and Kamal was not able to do the simultaneous three city event on his birthday, as planned. However the confirmation from Sony should mean that we can expect the audio launch very soon.
Viswaroopam is an upcoming thriller film produced and directed by Kamal Haasan under his home production house Raj Kamal International. Starring Kamal, Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Isha Sharvani and Rahul Bose, Viswaroopam has music by the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio. Lyrics for the Tamil, Hindi and Telugu versions are by Vairamuthu, Javed Akhtar, and Vennelakanti respectively.
