Do you believe in Astrology, Forecasting the future and similar kinds of things? If you become popular with millions of followers, then you no need to look for any future predictors, the world around you does it.
Whether it is true or not people keep an eye on your every move. Kollywood Superstar ‘Illayathalapathy’ Vijay is one among the very few stars whose upcoming films get noticed much in advance before his current flick hits the theatres.
After Puli, the actor is currently busy with his 59th venture with director Atlee of Raja Rani fame. It is reported that 60 percent of the film’s shoot is completed and the team is now in Goa for the next schedule. The untitled Vijay59 is produced by Kalaipuli. S. Dhanu that has the star cast of Samantha and Amy Jackson in the lead roles with music being crooned by G.V. Prakash Kumar. It is revealed Vijay plays the role of a cop in the movie.
Being the busiest actor in the town, Vijay usually locks his next venture while his current project is half way through and it is seldom that he takes a big break after finishing a movie. By that way, talks were spreading regarding Vijay60. SJ. Suriyah, Sasi Kumar, Hari and Karthik Subburaj are the directors who were in the list to grab the opportunity.
Playing the cards smoother, Director Barathan, who earlier directed Azhagiya Tamizh Magan (ATM) with Vijay in it, seized Vijay60. The news became viral as editor K.L. Praveen tweeted in his official handle yesterday. Trusted film fraternities say that Vijay nodded for the script which is a racy action thriller.
Barathan is the renowned dialogue writer in the industry who has written dialogues for Vijay’s all time blockbuster Ghilli and several other films including Ajith Kumar’s Veeram. ATM appeared to be his debut film as a director. His second film is Aththi with actors Nanda and Ananya.
Having finalized Vijay60, other cast and crew members are yet to be announced. As of now K.L. Praveen is confirmed as the editor for the film who is also the editor of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali.
It is rumored that music directors Yuvan Shankar Raja or Anirudh Ravichandar or Santhosh Narayan will be roped in according to their dates and availability.
While Vijay is reaching the peak of his career after films like Nanban, Thuppaki and Kaththi under big directors, it is still a wonder to many about his selection of directors and people close to Vijay say that he trusts the script in the first place when compared to the director’s profile.
