First day first show crowd and thundering reception are common to few stars in Kollywood. We call it as theatre celebrations.
A plane takes off from Chennai airport, travels through the air and lands at Malaysian airport. The door opens, there is no A.R. Rahman, but everyone in and around the airport can feel a rocking music as the man steps out from the plane, waving his hands with a smile on his face. Crowd goes frenzy.
Thought this is an introduction scene of an actor? Well, he had lots of such classy opening sequences, but this is real. ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth is the only star in Indian Cinema who gets this kind of reception even off the screen, when he visits a place.
As per the schedule, Kabali shoot in Malaysia has kicked-off. The Malaysian Government welcomed ‘Thalaivar’ Rajinikanth at Kuala lampur airport yesterday. Surrounded by numerous fans, he was accompanied in a Chrysler limousine from the airport to the hotel.
The governor of Malacca Mohd Khalil Yaakob had arranged a special lunch to facilitate the arrival of Superstar Rajinikanth. Post lunch, Rajinikanth mingled with the fans and they were all excited to take photographs with the star.
The first schedule of Kabali was started in Chennai and wrapped up. Soon after that, Pa. Ranjith, the director of the film routed the crew to Malaysia for the second schedule that would include prominent portions of Kabali.
Producer of Kabali, ‘Kalaipuli ‘ S. Dhanu was also present when ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth met the governor of Malacca.
Apart from the official reception of Malacca government, Malaysian Superstar Rajinikanth fans received the Thalaivar by their presence everywhere.
Places such as Sepang, Malacca and many other locations have been shortlisted for the Kabali shoot. Due permission for the purpose of shooting in each of these locations have already been obtained by the producer ‘Kalaipuli’ S. Dhanu and team.
The cameras started rolling from Malacca and few shooting spot stills are leaked which is going viral already.
The current sensation in Kollywood and elsewhere is ‘the Ultimate Don Days are going to be back’.
