What happens when a boy and girl meet and are drawn to each other but are not the ones in a relationship? That is Hasee Toh Phasee Review for you in just a line.
Directed by Vinil Mathew romantic comedy Hasee Toh Phasee (HTP) released on 7th February. Verdict is that it is coated with hilarious situations and many laugh out loud moments which keeps you entertained throughout its two-hour-twenty-one minutes.
Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles, HTP also features Sharat Saxena, Neena Kulkarni, Adah Sharma and others.
The story, as reviewed by Hindustantimes, “Nikhil (Siddharth) is trying his best to impress his girlfriend Karishma (Adah Sharma) who is an actress. Nikhil is a small businessman trying to find his own ground. He is soon introduced to Karishma's sister Meeta (Parineeti). The movie traverses the journey of Meeta finally gaining her sanity (the 'mental' that she is) and Nikhil losing his!”

Performance wise … Parineeti’s performance is the best in the flick. She sparkles and dazzles with natural ease and brings to life her character. Siddharth on the other hand has climbed up several notches from his debut film ‘Student of The Year’ and has proved that he is more than just a pretty face.
Produced by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap, it is thus reviewed, “There is no extra-melodrama, yet the movie is emotional. There are no crass jokes, yet it is humorous and to top it all, there are no love making scenes, yet the movie defines romance it its own style.”
With a well-written, breezy, witty, funny, fast-paced story and crackling dialogues, Hasee Toh Phasee should not be missed.
