Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma are up to what? By the way, where do Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar come from on the official teaser for ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’? Watch out for it. Shot in the exquisite spots like Turkey in the backdrop of transition undergone by ‘Mehras’ (Anil Kapoor & Shefali Shah). Opening reminds very much of Ben Stiller (Greg Focker) greeting Robert De Neiro (Jack Tiberius Byrnes).
In their mission to get their son, Kabir Mehra get married, Mehras fight for India’s wedding code besides – Yes, since it’s a “once for all contract”, they are seen slogging to save their daughter’s (Ayesha Mehra) marriage ;)

An Indian dramedy directed by Zoya Akhtar, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ opens up so much for, well, where it’s from! Again, it’s Zoya Akhtar, so critic reviews and box-office talks count. It was making news since 2013, as there was a “garbled” tournament going on in signing up the cast & crew.
A Brother and sister tale was tuned for somebody else in the past. It was like this:
Ranbir Kapoor – Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor-Hrithick Roshan
But, then, time flies by, even before their tweets stop doing rounds ☻☻But the teaser for ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ came as a bolt from the blue:
Ranveer Singh – Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra – Farhan Akhtar
We’d have to wait till June 5th for the “com-drama”.
