RK Video Presents HEMA MALINI as DURGA!
This artful performance was a musical representation of the stories and folklore of the goddesses Sati, Parvati, and (you guessed it) Durga. The crowd was
Held in the beautiful Queens Colden Center in NY this show had everything you would expect from a professional show. Highly trained classical dancers and an attention commanding star.
“Hema Malini is not just an actress but also a director, producer, politician, choreographer, and owner of the editorship of NEW WOMAN – Hindi Magazine. Hema Malini is not just multi-talented, but a woman who stands for what she believes.”
To add to the professionalism that an RK Video event has the host “Desi Girl” Wendy Khan didn’t just warm up the audience, she made them sizzle with excitement as she introduced the opening act, a big talent in a little package, Dimple Belani.
Miss Belani performed and artful classical dance choreographed by her loving Bharatnatyam Guru, Shrimati Chandra Banerjee. Beginning at the age of 4 Dimple has honed her skills to keep pace with some of the top dancers in her age group.
The biggest announcement came at the end of the show when Wendy Khan announced that on August 9th Kumar Sanu will be in this very auditorium performing the greatest hits of the 80’s and 90’s. For more information on how to get tickets (that are selling like hot cakes) contact Kishore Belani or Wendy Khan.
Don’t wait otherwise you will miss out on another show of the year!
