As everyone is waiting for July Fourth "America's biggest birthday party" – Independence Day, Dallas is prepping for the most breathtaking fireworks ever! Kaboom Town in Addison is famous for putting up the most spectacular show. It has been counted among the best places to see firework in the America!
The stunning 30-minute fireworks show is choreographed to music and a live radio show simulcast on 100.3 JACK FM. They spend over $220,000 and make this evening magical! I was there last year to see the show and it was worth the parking hassle and traffic. As always it would be held on July 3rd from 5 PM – Midnight at Addison Circle Park.

Its not just fireworks! You would find great food, live music on the Dos Equis Stage and the spectacular Addison Airport Air Show featuring the Cavanaugh Flight Museum Warbird Flyover.
The fireworks can be seen from just about anywhere in Addison and many hotels and restaurants host special watching parties like including Addison Point, BJ’s Brew house, Cantina Laredo, McFadden’s, and The Quarter Bar. Some of the restaurant and hotel watching parties may charge a separate fee. The fireworks will be launched at dusk (approximately 9:30 PM).
It’s a free event; so expect thousands of patriot Americans with their family on roads. When I went their last year and saw the crowd on the roads I was shocked!
They are expecting half a million people this year. So be prepared, try to park a bit far away and wear comfortable shoes because you would be walking a lot! You can get FREE parking in the parking garages located on Arapaho Road at the Dallas Parkway and Addison Circle Drive at Dallas Parkway.
Brace yourself for this mind-blowing experience. If you are in town on July 3, this is the place to be. Here’s how it’s gonna go down:
5:00 PM - 531st National Guard Band of the Gulf Coast
6:45 PM - Airlift
8:15 PM - Dallas Wind Symphony
9:30 PM - Fireworks Display
10:00 PM - Emerald City
