Under the context of moral policing, “Kiss of love” posters were torn up by VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) in Kerala. Religious organizations and political parties could cold shoulder rape, child abuse and child trafficking. But they cannot stand the “expression of love”. A youth group in Kerala has planned for a protest against moral policing, as it’s a crime. Placards were prepared and displayed for the protest voicing out against moral policing.
Couples were invited to “kiss in public” to show that “expression of love” isn’t a harm, but “moral policing” is totally a criminal activity.
People were invited to join the march at Marine Drive In (Kochi) on November 2nd.VHP has challenged that they’ll fight people, whoever takes part in “public display of affection”. Placards for “kiss of love” were torn by the volunteers of VHP.
“Moral policing is a crime” and this is what the youth group wants to express. The organizers put up a Facebook message, “Moral Policing is a criminal activity. Most of political parties and religious organizations try to do that. A group of young bloods join their hands together to prove to society that the kiss is the symbol of love. And it will be a public event ...at the Kochi marine drive."
