California is undeniably a great place to visit for vacation. One of the entertainment capitals of the world, Los Angeles offers an abundance of choice for out-of-towners to get an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. For anyone who has ever enjoyed a movie or TV show, the Warner Brothers VIP Tour is one of those can’t miss opportunities.
The tour takes place on the sprawling Warner Brothers set in Burbank, California. When you first arrive, you meet up at the gift shop ---a perfect place to kill time and survey the souvenirs you want to take home, post-tour.
When your tour group is called, you are ushered into a small theatre to watch a short video highlighting the history and greatest moments of Warner Brothers. Following the video, you are split into smaller groups and assigned a tour guide who will take you around the lot in a go-cart.
As someone who has taken the tour three times, I can attest that the quality of your tour can vary vastly depending on whom you get assigned. However, all three times were informative and fun in their own way. All tour guides are extremely open to suggestions and strive to make the tour enjoyable based on your interests --- so don’t feel shy speaking up.
After seeing some sets, you are led into the Warner Brothers museum where you can see costumes and artifacts collected from various productions. While the first floor of the museum features different themes depending on the time of year, the second floor is devoted wholly to one of Warner Brother’s most iconic properties --- Harry Potter.
Each tour is different, however most guides will take you to at least one working set --- either a sitcom, 1-hour, or variety show. This is a really cool opportunity to see a set all dressed up and exactly like you see on TV.
