The novel features the parallel stories of primeval Indian community of Vanaras and Krishnanujam -- a famous Indian-origin physicist and a doctoral candidate at Cal Tech deciphering the secrets of the cosmos. Tenth Avatar cuts back and forth between the story of Hanuman and Krish’s efforts to continue with his research while evading some dangerous people who pose a threat to his life due to the nature of his work, allowing the reader to make interpretations on the parallels between the two stories.

“I was born and brought up in India. I was always intrigued by history and mythology. I earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, and I have lived in the US for more than 15 years, working as a Principal Scientist,” says Tenth Avatar author Kanchan Joshi in his official website.
