The countdown has begun for the Eighth Season of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 which is set to feature top 8 cricket teams from around the world.
With the excitement around ICC Champions Trophy 2017 growing every minute, it is time to get set for the warm-up matches starting on 26th of May, 2017.
These matches will allow players to get a feel for the opposition’s strengths and weaknesses and also get acclimatized to the conditions at The Oval and Edgebaston before the actual tournament begins on June, i.e., 1st June 2017.
Fans can also get an idea of where their teams stand in terms of form and fitness by keeping track of these warm-up matches.
ICC has posted the schedules on its official website. The first warm up match is between Australia and Sri Lanka at Oval Stadium.
The defending champion, team India will be taking on New Zealand and Bangladesh on 28th and 30th May, respectively, in these matches.
