May 18, 2017: The International Cricket Council has announced the umpires and match referees for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2017 tournament, which is set to get underway in England and Wales from June 1 to 18.
ICC Champions trophy 2017’s most anticipated match between India and Pakistan on June 4 (Sunday), will be umpired by South Africa’s Marais Erasmus and Kumar Dharmasena of Sri Lanka. This match will be refereed by Zimbabwean Andy Pycroft.
ICC announced on Thursday that its Match Referees Chris Broad, David Boon and Andy Pycroft will oversee the tournament and the umpiring work will be carried out by ICC Umpires Aleem Dar, Kumar Dharmasena, Marais Erasmus, Bruce Oxenford, Sundaram Ravi, Paul Reiffel, Rod Tucker, Chris Gaffaney, Ian Gould, Richard Illingworth, Richard Kettleborough and Nigel Llong.
