The theme of our Golu this year is "Sarvam Shivamayam" - a total of 110 stories with 150 self hand-made dolls, 30 hand-made lingams and other props. For each of the displays, we have given the corresponding reference (padigam) from Thirumurai.
We have covered:
1. Pancha Bootha Sthalam - Five Shiva temples representing five elements (Kanchipuram - Earth, Thiruvanaikaval - Water, Thiruvannamalai - Fire, Sri KalaHasthi - Wind and Chidambaram - Sky)
2. Pancha Utsav - Five Festivals of Shiva (Annabhishekam, Maha Shivarathiri, Thiruvannamalai Deepam, Pradosham and Arudra Darisanam)
3. Pancha Bhavam - Five Types of Bhakthi towards Shiva (Dasyam, Sakhyam, Madhuryam, Vatsalyam and Santham)
4. Pancha Sabhai - Five Dancing halls of Shiva (Kanaka Sabhai, Rajatha Sabhai, Rathina Sabhai, Thamira Sabhai and Chiththira Sabhai)
5. Pancha Avatar - Five Avatars of Shiva (Durvasar, Agasthiyar, Adi Sankarar, Hanuman and Sai Baba)
6. Pancha Guna Moorthi - Five forms of Shiva with different qualities (Bairavar - Uggram, Dakshinamurthy - Shantham, Natarajar - Aanandham, Bikshadanar - Vaseegaram and Somaskandar - Kaarunyam)

8. Saptha Sthaana Temples - Seven Shiva Temples in Mylapore and their stories (Karneeswarar, Theerthapaaleeswarar, Velleswarar, Virupaksheshwarar, Malleswarar, Valeeswarar and Kapaaleshwarar)
