Most times we don’t think of other people’s privacy. And No! I’m not talking just about social media. Privacy is something that one needs to follow even outside of social media. Talking aloud on the phone while travelling, offering personal information of other people without their consent, reading other people’s diaries or texts or even handling other people’s things without permission, is violation of privacy. The worst of its kind? Think of the situation where you got most annoyed by someone who violated your privacy.
So how to handle it? Don’t do to others what you don’t want them to do to you. And if they still continue, politely point out the flaw to them. Some people might not know the limits of socialization. They might think that they are being “good friends” and so they have a license to intrude into your pride lands.
