I don’t bite my arms off, when I find people being too nosy. Well, it’s not novel to many who are accompanied by Indians. They ask me questions that are never to be asked someone within 5 minutes of meeting. I’m a second-generation Indian and I’m sensible enough to admit it – “Indians are too nosy”. Do they have to be? What if I get stuffed and yell at them, “Clear off!” There were times, I felt like honking in their company (most of them!) who asked me about my surname. Well, it’s mine and it’s a question that should never be asked with a few minutes of meeting someone!
“Where’s your name from? Do you have a Parsi ancestry?”

This is absolutely, what a chin wag would do. Why do they fish out to know one’s ancestral background within 5 minutes of meeting them? Firstly, it’s my name, and my ancestry means nothing to the other person.
“How old are you? You seem to be a pro in this domain!”

What else could speak up for “these people, for being such uncultured nosy neighbours”? Do they think that they can be so judgmental, merely by someone’s age? What a beastly question is this to ask someone within a few minutes of meeting?
“When’s the baby due? You should take care of yourselves!”

Dafts, most of the people from our continent find joy in humiliating a person, who has big ta-tas and tummy. Please shut your trap! I understand that they’ve inherited a thingy from their cultural ethos to “ask questions that shouldn’t be asked with 5 minutes of meeting someone”.
But, I’m puzzled, why are they so much of peanuts? Are they worser than uncivilized mankind those are blindfolded from looking beyond flesh?
I’m not being funny but how could one be indifferent to the other person’s privacy and feelings? According to India “being nosy” is nothing but, “caring for the other person”, at first sight…total nitwits!

I know that many Indians love to socialize, but they should know what not to ask within a few minutes of meeting!
