He was quiet, more worldly, and fun-loving. I didn’t know that he could be a person who would turn out to be my romantic interest later. We worked for the same company. We were somewhere in a distant-but-warm books that’s defined as “friends”.
I was helping myself with tuna sandwich, while my friends were busy gulping hot chocolate. Just then, I noticed that our eyes met. Many episodes have passed by, but our eyes met for the first time.
It was not sappy but sassy! That’s the moment we shared a mystic smile, knowing that we liked each other.
I don’t know what exactly it’s, I felt something strange about him. The next day, I was all blue.
Out of blue, I saw a text popping out from chat box, “Hi!”
Yes, it was from Amith. Of course, it was sassier. Why not? I was attracted to him anyways, but the kick of expecting your crush to step in first… ;)
Since then, I tried harder to throw a smile at him, but I always ended up showing off a warm glee! One leading to the other, my talkative nature let him break the ice.
That moment came at last…
I was waiting to feel his kiss of love. Adding fuel to fire his scent kept mesmerizing me along with the after-shave he sported.
I lurched…He said, ”I wish you would be in my arms. I cannot let your scent to vanish from me!”
We were walking hand-in-hand. He closed in…we embraced like the world isn’t going to be! Little romance turned into passion. I knew that I’m living the most beautiful moment! We were looking into our eyes; I couldn’t help losing myself in his coziness!
…we kissed alas! Our longing was springing to life…we felt the passionate kiss! For a moment our lips parted, only to make us smile at each other…
Then we went on to kiss deeper and deeper, exploring how much we belong!
…
It took a couple of years for me to realize…the kiss didn’t last longer. Of course, it broke me apart, but that’s what showed me the magic to re-live my moments.
I know it’s going to be better. I know it’s going to happen again, but a kiss that would last longer than I wish!
