Tagging relationship with MIL (Mother-in-law) takes time. Stereotype mother-in-laws are really complex to be dealt with. Of course, it’s reflected by funny things these mother-in-laws sayJ They know that they live in a world of transition, where their DIL (daughter-in-law) belong to! Certain things a mother-in-law says are real funny. No wonder because according to India, it’s two families getting married and not just two people. If one’s irked about not getting her private space with her man, certainly, there’s a (Indian) mother-in-law behind such a protection. On top of that a mother-in-law says funny things to show who the priority out here is:

Mummiji : “I know that my son is married”

(Implies) - -> whatever it’s, he is my son, will ‘only’ be, will go on and on!
Mummiji: “I’m really lucky to have you as my daughter-in-law “
(Implies) - -> Whenever, I pay a visit to spend time with my son, you always keep my room immaculate. You make my bed, clean my bathroom, and keep my towels…
Mummiji: “Don’t worry, I’ll call him, if I’ve a problem!”
(Implies) - -> After all, he is my son. He knows who the prior one is. I’ve his personal mobile number (as if you’re his ex-girlfriend).
Mummiji: “You’re more of my daughter!”

(Implies) - -> Still, you’re not the one. That’s why I find it easier to barge in, when you people are busy engrossed in cozy conversations!
An Indian mother-in-law has no boundaries for her own good. She loves baby-sitting their sons, even after he gets married…unfortunately, there are a few Indian mother-in-laws who mean what they say!
