Do You Need To Be A Controlling Parent?

Can I beat around the bush? Do you need to be a controlling parent? I understand that parenting isn’t easy; indeed, parents need to be rigid, but would it need to be forever? A girl or boy needs to controlled by their parents…the question is, “for how long”? For sure “culture plays the axle of parenting”; Indian parents are so controlling for their own good. Still, I’m an adult and I cannot be subjected to guilt for being independent and on my own.

Parents wish to please people

I get that we need to preserve our culture, but that’s a long way to go! Perseverance comes from one’s individual personality. Aren’t it?

You fancy your kids to be please the entire universe. It’s a great idea!! Every cloud has a silver lining, but you let them taste their life; let them live it…above all, they love to learn and live!

Short skirts doesn’t ruin girls

Of course, it does matter what one puts on! Indian parents stop their girls from wearing short skirts, but they forget that they damage their child’s value and self image. It’s merely clothing, but as a beloved mum or dad, are you aware that you make her feel more of flesh than a soul?

She is 25 – Won’t you be happy to see your little girl to grow up as a good human? I believe that even that’s part of Indian culture. Aren’t it?

When, parents stop living their children’s life, chords of love increases between them! How chuffed you’ll be to see your adults bearing their own cross?

I’m not talking as an Americanized person, but as a fellow human I see that controlling Indian parents cross their bridges before they come to them.

“Protecting your child is a gift”!  Are you sure that you’re molding your children or over-protecting them?
